"We are multicolored"

There are several definitions for the word flag, one of them is “a piece of cloth usually rectangular of distinctive color and design”, but it is also a symbol or emblem that whether we like it or not it is part of our culture.

            For many of us, who are learning about different cultures and most important a foreign languaje, other flags may also be part of our entity; for this reason and to inspire the expression of multiple pespectives, the project we are multicolored was created, in this webpage you have the oportunity to learn about the symbolism of almost every flag of the countries world wide and even more fun you can create your own flag.

            The steps to create your flag are very simple, you just have to select your country, another country that has affected you and a country where you would like to go and then you are ready to make your flag. In case you don’t know what country has affected you or what country you would like to visit you can make a click on symbolism and you would be able to search flags by color or symbol and you can choose the one you like the most. Once you have finished your flag you can give a short explanation about it and then publish it.

            We are multicolored is a great oportunity to learn more about your own culture and different cultures, practice your English, realise the importance of flags and something trascendental here is that you can express yourself.

  1. As I was reading your paragraph I could definately see how helpful that webpage is. Not only because people can practice their English but because flags are an important part of a country`s culture. And as future English teachers we need to learn as much as we can about all these different cultures. However, we should learn about other cultures without forgetting our own.
    I feel like different types of webpages can become very handy at times, and this webpage is one of them.
    It`s a very creative and fun webpage, good choice!
